Tour of the Robert Redford Conservancy + Student Showcase
Join us for a guided tour of the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability, where you'll discover the site’s dedication to environmental conservation and sustainability. This interactive experience will also feature a Student Showcase, highlighting student-led sustainability initiatives. Inclusion and Justice Panel

Disasters don’t affect all communities equally. In this powerful conversation, panelists—including individuals impacted by the Maui wildfires and the Moss Landing fire, as well as students and faculty documenting the recent Eaton fires—will explore the deep inequities in emergency response and recovery.

Student Garden & Outdoor Classroom
Explore the Student Garden and Outdoor Classroom, where sustainability comes to life. Take a guided tour and participate in hands-on activities with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Fellows, showcasing the efforts of students in promoting sustainable practices.   • Jessica McCoy, Professor of Art: Drawing Class at the Conservancy – Join Professor McCoy for a hands-on drawing class set in the stunning Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability.
  • Jemma Lorenat, Associate Professor of Mathematics: Progressive Era Women in Mathematics – Professor Lorenat will discuss her recent book on progressive-era women in mathematics, made possible by ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s Scholar-in-Residence program, and share insights from her collaborative work with Claremont students.
  • Monica Mahoney, Adjunct Professor for Environmental Analysis: The Outback Tour – Professor Mahoney will lead a tour of The Outback, providing a closer look at the ecological and environmental efforts happening on ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s campus.
  • Will Barndt, Associate Professor of Political Studies: Topic TBD – Stay tuned for more details on this session, where Professor Barndt will delve into a current political issue or topic.
  • Darin Brown, Assistant Professor of Psychology: Topic TBD – Professor Brown will explore fascinating topics in psychology, providing an engaging discussion about the mind and human behavior.
